“Ilerioluwa, do not sleep” – Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi sorrowfully penned after his autopsy was reported to be invalid

Following the report by the pathologist that the autopsy done for the late Mohbad yielded no result because his body was already decomposing when it was examined, the widow of the deceased expressed her sorrow via her Instagram handle.

The body of the late Ilerioluwa Imole A.K.A Mohbad was exhumed nine days after being interred, when Nigerians probed into the cause of his death which was termed suspicious.

Mohbad’s autopsy report was released eight months after his death, but the expectations of people who were waiting to hear the news were dashed after the coroner rendered it invalid.

It finally looks like nothing else can be done to pursue his cause of death and this hopelessness is evinced on Wunmi’s post which says, “Ilerioluwa, ma sun (don’t sleep)” and a couple of blank dark pages.

The late twenty-seven-year old singer died on September 12, 2023, under suspicious circumstances after a strange illness and was buried that same day.

But when Nigerians started to fight for his justice because it was allegedly claimed the duo, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were responsible for his untimely demise, his body was unearthed.

This recent update about his death brings a note of finality to everything, and most hope he be reburied soon and get to rest infinitely.
