A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Olabode George has restated his earlier resolve on Bola Ahmed Tinubu the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, that if  eventually Nigerians voted him into power.  ” I will just wish them goodluck as I will then be 80.”

reacted to the statement which he had one time made to go on exile, if eventually, the ruling All Progressives Congress

The chieftain, who was asked on a television show on Arise news if his position of going to exile had not changed, he emphasized that he would, by then, be 80 years old if the former governor of Lagos happens to become the next leader, and he would therefore see no need to be in Nigeria at that age. The question was posed during an episode of the television program.

However, he said that he would wish every Nigerian the best of luck if they choose to pick the presidential flagbearer of the APC, and he added that one will also not forget what he had been saying about such matters, despite the fact that he may live anywhere he wishes himself.

According to him “Look, if Bola Tinubu wins, at that point, if I’m 80 years old and have achieved in Nigeria what I’m aiming for there, I would wish you all the best. But if they let the results be streamed and recorded electronically, he won’t be. But if the people keep saying he’s the man they want, I don’t care where I live, because you’ll remember that I said it.”
