Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has warned the newly sworn-in Special Advisers, Board Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen that his administration will not condone in-fighting and rivalry.
Governor Adeleke also charged them to be above board in the discharge of their duties, adding that the rule of law and due process would be respected by his administration and that he would not tolerate corruption and incompetence.
This warning was contained in the address of Governor Adeleke at the swearing-in of the newly appointed Special Advisers and Board Members.
Newspot recalls that the Governor had sent a request and sought the appointment of 25 Special Advisers from the Osun State House of Assembly.
He later sent another five nominees to make it 30 Special Advisers nominees.
After the Assembly approved the list of Special Advisers nominees, the Governor also approved the appointment of 14 additional Special Advisers to bring the list to 44.
He charged them to be above board in the discharge of their duties.
“My administration believes in following the rule of law and due process all the time.
“I want to advise you to salvage the State with new ideas.
“I will not tolerate corruption and incompetence from you and I will not condone in-fighting and rivalry among the appointees.
