I Was Too Innocent When I Became Ooni Wife- Naomi

The former wife of the Ooni of Ife, Queen Silekunola Naomi Ogunwusi, has said that she was too innocent and soft when she entered the royal palace, following her marriage to the Yoruba traditional ruler .

Queen Naomi, who was speaking in an interview, about the lessons she learned while in the palace, declared, “I entered the palace too innocent and soft, but life is not like that, you have to be strong, bold and courageous.”

The former wife of the Ooni, who visibly expressed the view that she should have been more firm, bold when she married into the royal palace, alluded to the fact that she had learned to be strong, bold and courageous in facing life issues, following her bittersweet experience in her marriage to the Yoruba traditional ruler.

According to her, “lesson learned (from my life in the palace) are personal and they have helped me… 30 makes me really strong.”

For me she said  ” I have moved on . You don’t expect me to work for reconciliation and go back into a palace with six wives.
