Jonathan Asake, the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Kaduna State says carrying the people along in the art of governance will unite the state for peaceful and meaningful development.
He said creating economic alternative will reduce the dependence on oil generated revenue in the state and create job opportunities for citizens.
Speaking at a media parley organised by the Nigeria Union of journalists in Kaduna State, the gubernatorial candidate said, “each of our 23 local government areas in the state is endowed with natural and human resources, exploring and effectively utilizing the available resources will help provide the needed social amenities and infrastructural development in various local government areas.”
The gubernatorial candidate said the party’s slogan is to secure Kaduna, restore all deserted farmland, assuring that his government would make sure that it introduces strategies to fight the menace of banditry, cattle rustling and kidnapping in every part of the state.
The former SOKAPU president also promised to provide 35% for women involvement in his cabinet by allocating and appointing them to various ministries and parastatals if elected.
