The delay to release Tinubu’s ministerial list is as a result of how many powerful interest groups wanted to have input. The newspot exclusively gathered.

Our source said the list which had been packaged and approved by President Bola Tinubu had been hijacked by the so called cabal in the All Progressives Congress APC.

The cabal is said to have been tinkering with the list to satisfy some ” powerful” interests in APC. ” “This list has gone round seven to eight groups and still going round till last Friday 21 July 2023.”

Our source said  the President had no blame as he had okayed the list of capable hands, mixed with technocrats.  But some hardliners in APC objected to technocrats taking ‘juicy’ appointments while party loyalists were being denied.

The President’s position, the source said gave the technocrats ministries that needed experts to drive his vision for a new Nigeria.

“To give such critical ministries to party members will draw back our progressive vision for Nigeria. ” The source quoting President Tinubu.

Another group from the cabal are those dropping the names of the president, Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Government of the Federation? SGF to dupe those frantically looking for appointments.

These people, the source said were collecting Curricula Vitae from desperate lobbyists for fat fees. They are claiming of having the ears of Mr President.  “They are just dropping names here and there”

The source said some of the family members of Mr President were not left out in this charade “Infact the way money is changing hands is alarming” he added.

However, the source said President Tinubu would mandatory forward the list to the Senate next week. ” All what I can say is the president Tinubu will not bend over to all the demands of APC stakeholders.  He will give in to some but will not jeopardize merit for mediocracy.” he concluded.
