The lifeless body of a 400-level student of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) was found dumped at a car wash around Harris Filling Station in Jos, the Plateau state capital on Sunday, December 11, 2022.
According to reports, the deceased student identified as Ruth Yakadi was allegedly raped and killed by unknown assailants who dumped her corpse close to a bridge in the Farin Gada area of Jos North Local Government. She was reportedly found with her underwear hanging on her legs which were dusty, foiling rape speculations.
A source who spoke to newsmen alleged that prior to her death, Ruth had a misunderstanding with her boyfriend who is said to be a known cultist.
Friends have since taken to Facebook to demand justice.
