It raises the possibility that Maguire could remain at Old Trafford and the Sun say he’s having second thoughts over a move to West Ham.
The Hammers have endured a torrid pre-season following the sale of Declan Rice and Lucas Paqueta could follow him with interest from Manchester City.
A move to the London Stadium is therefore looking less appealing, particularly as Maguire would have to take a pay-cut to move to the London Stadium.
Maguire has two years to run on his deal at Old Trafford and he’s kept his spot in the England side in the last two seasons, despite falling out of favour at the Theatre of Dreams.
However, United have already bid for Benjamin Pavard, who is seen as Maguire’s replacement.
