Gunmen invaded the Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in Piri village in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, killed a security guard identified as Ishaku and stole a Mikano generator.
A resident, Samuel Bamayi, explained that on a day last around 12pm when the guard who first sighted the robbers opened fire into the air in order to scare them was shot dead by the robbers.
He further said, “After the robbers killed the guard, they ordered a truck driver they came with and drove into the PHC and lifted the generator using a crane.
When contacted, the spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, said she would find out and get back to our reporter.
