The Justice for Mobhad group in Nigeria and diaspora has expressed displeasure over autopsy result of the late singer, Ileri-Oluwa Aloba popularly called Mobhad.
They disclosed this at a news conference organised by the group at Ikorodu town hall, Lagos, where the singer had his last performance before he died.
Mr David Nowoola, representing the entertainment industry, appreciated the father and everybody fighting for justice for the late singer.
He expressed displeasure over the delay from the pathologist who said the cause of the death was not certain.
Nowoola, commended the court for granting approval for other witnesses to come to court and share their testimony regarding the death of the singer.
“The autopsy is just one of the variables of fact finding, thankfully the court have approved for parties to the issue bring other witnesses.
“The current stage of the report pre-empted the call for another witness that will be cross examined to elicit facts ,” he said.
Also, Mrs Grace Shonde, celebrated Mobhad’s father, Mr Joseph Aloba, for standing in a place of a woman to get justice for his son, adding that he would remain in history.
Shonde said while responding to questions from the audience, that Mobhad passed away in very terrifying and questionable circumstances and so, they have to collaborate and ensure that justice is served at the end.
Also, Mr Oluwaseun Aromolaran, urged everybody to be consistent in the struggle to get justice for Mohbad and never relent.
He said the country has engaged on more than four corona inquests on death of prominent Nigerians which ended without unraveling them.
“We should not be discouraged until justice is served for the late singer.
“”Most of the corona inquests in the country have never yielded positive result.
“A big example is the death of Chief Moshood Abiola(MKO), till now, nobody have an idea of how he died.
“It is necessary to conduct another autopsy test to unravel more facts,” he said.
Mobhad’s father thanked the Lagos State Government for their support and appealed that a private pathologist conduct autopsy and DNA tests of his grandchild.
