Makinde with his late mother
Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde is bereaved. He lost his mother Mrs Abigail Makinde to the cold hand of death. Mama was 80 when she passed on in the early hour of Thursday 15 October 2020.
Cause of death not known but family source told newspot that Mama’s death was due to old age.

The source said no formal announcement yet about her death until all the family members had been contacted.
But those close to Governor Makinde have been sending condolences messages to him.
