Gov Ikpeazu improved small, medium scale businesses in Abia – PDP Chieftain, Onuzuruike

A Member representing Umuahia North Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly and a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kelechi Onuzuruike, has described the award bestowed on Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, as the Governor of the year, SME Development 2021 by the New Telegraph Newspaper in Lagos, as well-deserved.

He said Governor Ikpeazu created an enabling environment for Small and Medium Business Enterprises to thrive in Abia State.

In a statement made available to journalists, in Umuahia, on Tuesday, Onuzuruike, congratulated Ikpeazu on the award, saying that the governor has through his unrelenting commitment to the promotion of SME’s, created employment and business opportunities for millions of unemployed Abians and made them business owners.

Onuzuruike claimed the Ikpeazu-led administration has through the ongoing establishment of Enyimba Economic City placed Abia on the path of great economic development and prosperity.

He said the governor has recorded impressive and overwhelming gains especially in the area of infrastructures, health, education and security, which led to the existing and sustainable economic growth and development in the state.

The party chieftain also said Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has turned Abia into the epicentre and new destination for Small and Medium Scale Business Enterprise (SME’s), opining that the mercurial honour bestowed on the Abia Chief Executive, will spur and strengthen him more in dispensing more meaningful projects to every doorstep of the people of the state.
