Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has commiserated with the family and associates of the former secretary to the state government, Alhaji Saka Isau, SAN, who died on Saturday, aged 69.
This was contained in a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin on Saturday.
Governor Abdulrazaq said, “the learned silk would be remembered for his service to the state as a former SSG and Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice.”
He prayed Almighty Allah to admit the late Saka Isau “to Al-Jannah Firdaus and uphold his family upon goodness.”
In a similar condolence message, the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, described the passing of late Saka Issau as a great loss to the Emirate.
He expressed sadness over the development, saying, “Saka Issau was one of the pride of the Ilorin Emirate in the legal profession.
“The deceased’s unwavering commitments to the growth and development of the state earned him the position of Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and later became the secretary to the state government in the past administration.”
The Emir condoled the immediate and extended families of the late SSG, the government and the people of the state and his political and professional associates over the unfortunate, great and colossal loss.
