We are excited to announce the Western Michigan University (WMU) Global Education Merit Scholarship for international students starting Fall 2023 and onward. WMU is proud of its deep and historic commitment to international student success and well-being. We are among only 50% of public universities to offer a scholarship designed for international students.
Eligibility:
- An undergraduate degree-seeking student entering WMU for the first time after secondary school or transferring from another post-secondary institution in a FALL semester.
- Non-resident international status.
- Intending F-1 SEVIS active full-time students to study in the US.
- 5 minimum cumulative GPA (on a four-point scale)

Method of Application: Applicants are required to enroll in the undergraduate degree programme at the university. Attach the following:
- Copy of passport identification page

- Proof of sufficient funds for the first academic year of study
