Fully Funded 2025 Mastercard TAGDev Scholarship For Africans. – SCHOLARSHIPS AND AID

Applications are now open for the 2025 Mastercard TAGDev Scholarship to empower prospective African undergraduates.

The Mastercard TAGDev Scholarship is a fully funded comprehensive scholarship that covers: tuition, research costs, workshop and conference costs, living expenses including stipend and hostel, laptop, internship attachment, and entrepreneurship training.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Mastercard TAGDev Scholarship 2024, you must:

• Be a national of Uganda and East African countries implementing the common East Africa Higher Education Protocol (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan).
• Be economically disadvantaged, from marginalized communities, and/or coming from conflict and post-conflict areas in Uganda.
• Be less than 30 years for undergraduate and less than 35 years for master’s studies at the time of this call.
• Should have completed secondary school and/ or diploma for a Bachelor’s degree application not more than two years from the time of this call. For refugees and internally displaced persons, they should have completed their studies at the previous level at most four years before.
• The applicant should meet admission criteria to the eligible Programmes in Gulu University.
• Demonstrate interest in agriculture, agribusiness and entrepreneurship

• Have commitment to working in agriculture and agricultural value chains.
• Have a strong commitment to community transformation.
• Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

• Applicants are encouraged to fill out the online application and print it out to attach to their application for admission to the university of choice.
• Access the Online RIMS Web Portal through; 
• Create your account by clicking on Register Here.
• An email will be sent to your valid email address to activate your account
• Click Apply to start filling out the Application Form.
• Remember to save while filling out the form by “Clicking Save Draft”
• Download, print, and submit it with your application form for admission to the University of your choice.
• Depending on the University you are applying to, you may either submit the document in hard copy or simply attach it on the university online portal.
