Amidst the ongoing fuel scarcity happening in the country, Nigerians devised a plan to purchase fuel, storming the filling station with generators.
In the video shared on TikTok, the filling station was crowded with a lot of customers surrounding the fuel pump to purchase fuel by possible means.
The majority of the customers had come with the whole generator while some brought the fuel tank to buy fuel. The video reveals a long queue of generators, with customers dragging it as they take turns.
In another clip, a man was spotted carrying a generator on his head.
The viral clip has sparked debate on social media as netizens lament the frequent fuel scarcity situation in the country. Some criticized the customers for bringing generators to the filling station while others complained about the recent increase in fuel prices.
