Tributes have started pouring in from friends and colleagues of Actress Gbemisola Anjola who passed on last Friday 24 March 2023.
Recalled that a year ago(February 25, 2022), upcoming Actress, Gbemisola Anjola was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
Fans and celebrities raised money for her treatment in Dubai. Gbemi responded to treatment and later returned to Nigeria. She was doing fine and was regaining her body but had finally given up the ghost.
As of the time of this report, what led to her death is unknown but celebrities have taken to Instagram to mourn her death.
Popular Actor, Itele Icon expressed sadness over her death and said vanity upon vanity. “Allahu Akbar. RIP Gbemi”. He added.
Actress, Kemity shared her video and said this was not what she promised them.
It was gathered that the 33-year-old passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, after a prolong b@ttle with ovarian cancer.
According to one of her colleagues who spoke with Instablog9ja, “She she was diagnosed with the ailment sometime in 2021. She went to Dubai for the chemotherapy for about six months and came back cancer free. But for the pass one month she has been complaining of headaches and loss of memory, so we took her to the hospital.
They said she will need one glass and some drugs which will cost about N500k and I told her we don’t need to post, that it’s something that we can arrange between us.
Yesterday she was very fine but around 7 PM she complained of headache again and was rushed to the hospital where she passed away.”
