The FIFA Club World cup competition will be held in Qatar between 11 and 23 January 2020 despite the coronavirus pandemic, according to reports.
Qatari reports have confirmed that FIFA has no intention of calling off the Club World Cup tournament due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic with new dates set for the competition in Doha.
Bayern Munich will be the European representative in the championship after they beat PSG in the champions league final thanks to a goal from Kingsley Coman.
The race for the Asian spot hasn’t been decided yet as Perspolis of Iran, who have qualified for the ACL final, are still waiting to face the qualified finalist from the western region competition.
The same goes for the African spot. Egyptian side Al-Ahly managed to book the first ticket to the African Champions League final while the second contender will be decided by the highly anticipated second-leg clash in Cairo between Zamalek and Raja Casablanca.
