A family of four that welcomed the New Year joyfully few days ago have lost their lives in ghastly motor accident along the Akwanga-Abuja road.
The deceased were: Victor Angbiandoo Tyohemba, an accountant, his wife, Erdoo Stephanie, a lawyer, and their two little daughters.
The foursome were returning to their Abuja base in a commercial vehicle from Benue State where they celebrated Christmas and New Year when the vehicle they boarded was said to have crashed.
A Facebook user, Theophilus Wever, family friend of the late family wrote in an emotional post:
“Dear Financial Accountant, Victor Angbian Tyohemba Gmb Yesterday was a very sad moment for me as I walked into the morgue at our lady of Apostles Hospital Akwanga, to inspect your remains including that of your beloved wife and my junior at the faculty of Law, Benue State University, Makurdi, Barr. Mrs. Stephanie Angbiandoo along side your two daughters namely Agnes and Immaculate who all perished in a fatal crash along Akwanga while enroute to Abuja after celebrating the festive season with your beloved family at Igbor , Benue State
“I’m saddened by the fact that you are humility personified and more so as we became very close most especially as concerned neighbours in Aso Estate, Abuja and would always share things in common as beloved family.
“I fondly remember your last call to me on Friday after which you asked if i was back to Abuja, which I answered in the affirmative. You further told me you would also be back the next day being Saturday with your family, which I waited to no avail only to wake up with the sad reality on Sunday, More so as i have already had your house keys kept under my custody in Abuja, while traveling.
“Friends and family, Kindly join me this morning as we journey to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Igbor, Benue State for a final interment for the soul’s of my beloved family.
“I’m speechless, but God knows better than we do.
“May your innocent and gentle souls, rest in the bossom of the lord, Amen.”
