After a packed weekend of action, there are still two fourth round fixtures to take place with Doncaster Rovers hosting Crystal Palace tonight Exeter City taking on Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

There have already been some huge exits with Premier League leaders Liverpool dumped out of the competition by Plymouth Argyle, bottom of the Championship, on Sunday.

Chelsea and Tottenham have also crashed out after defeats to Brighton and Aston Villa respectively with Arsenal falling at the first hurdle last month.

It presents a huge opportunity for the likes of Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Villa with the FA Cup wide open this season.

After a rancid first-half performance on Friday night, Ruben Amorim’s side fought back with Maguire nodding home the winner in added time. The England international was clearly offside as he got his bonce on it but it was missed by officials. With VAR not in play until fifth round matches, the goal stood much to the ire of Ruud van Nistelrooy.
