Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, the immediate past Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice of Nasarawa State, has debunked widespread reports on social media claiming his appointment as the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
In a statement released on Thursday morning via his official Facebook page, Dr. Magaji clarified that no formal communication or announcement regarding such an appointment had been made by the government.
“I urge the general public to disregard any reports circulating on social media that claim otherwise, as these do not originate from verified government sources.
“It is important to rely on official channels for accurate information.” He wrote
The rumors emerged in the wake of the recent cabinet reshuffle by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule.
On January 3, the governor dissolved his cabinet, which included the removal of Barrister Muhammad Ubandoma-Aliyu from the position of Secretary to the State Government.
As of now, there has been no official announcement from the governor’s office regarding a replacement for the SSG position.
