Nathan Tella is excited to open his goal account for Bundesliga club, Bayer Leverkusen.
Tella, who joined Die Werkself from Southampton this summer, was on target in Thursday night’s UEFA Europa League clash with Molde.
It was the winger’s second start for Xabi Alonso’s side.
The 25-year-old admitted it has been a tough start for him in Germany but is settling down in his new environment.
“Obviously it’s a great feeling, more importantly we got the win. I am really happy on an individual note to get my first goal,” Tella said to Bayer Leverkusen’s official website.
“It has been a tough start to my time here but the manager assured me that I will get a run of games and I will get the confidence and today was a good step for me.”
