Cyriel Dessers registered an assist as Rangers defeated Swedish club, Malmo 2-0 in their UEFA Europa League clash at the Eleda Stadion on Thursday.
Dessers assisted Nedim Bajrami’s opening goal in the first minute.
It was the forward’s third assist for the Light Blues across all competitions this season.
Substitute Ross McCausland scored the second goal for Philippe Clement’s side 14 minutes from time.
In Istanbul, Bright Osayi-Samuel’s return to action was marred by his red card.
Osayi-Samuel was sent off for a second booking in the closing minutes of Fenerbahce’s 2-1 home win against Union Saint-Gillloise.
He caused the penalty for the visiting Belgian club to pull a goal back.
