Erik ten Hag could leave his role as Manchester United manager at the end of the season, according to Chris Sutton.

Ten Hag took charge at Old Trafford in the summer of 2022 and led United to glory in the Carabao Cup last term to land their first major trophy in six years.
United impressed in Ten Hag’s debut season at the helm as they also finished as runners-up in the FA Cup and secured a third-placed Premier League finish.
The Dutchman has endured a difficult 2023-24 campaign so far, though, with the Red Devils eighth after 20 top-flight games and out of the Champions League.
Ten Hag has faced criticism for his style of football and several of his signings, as well as his treatment of Jadon Sancho, who has since headed to Borussia Dortmund on loan.
‘I suspect Sancho will outlast Ten Hag at Manchester United,’ Sutton told the Daily Mail.
‘It’s ended like this, but I suspect he’ll be back at Manchester United [at the end of the season].
‘And if Ten Hag carries on the way he’s going, I suspect he’ll be off at the end of the season.’
United have won just one of their last five Premier League games in a run which included a humiliating 3-0 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth.
Ten Hag’s side beat Wigan in the FA Cup last time out and return to action on Sunday when they host Tottenham.
