Former Celtic striker, Chris Sutton has slammed Mikel Arteta and his Gunners for over-celebrating after their 2-1 defeat over West Ham United in Premier League on Sunday.
Arsenal climbed back to fourth place in the race for a Champions League spot, with the Gunners now two points clear of their north London rivals Tottenham after the victory.
Tottenham themselves also beat Leicester City 3-1 to keep the pressure on the Emirates Stadium landlords.
Goals from Gabriel and Rob Holding sealed the victory for Arsenal at the London Stadium.
Arsenal players and their Manager, Mikel Arteta could be seen fist-pumping in the away section following the final whistle.
And Sutton believes the celebration was uncalled for with three matches left.
He wrote on Twitter, “Arsenal celebrating like they’ve won the league… dear me.”
Sutton’s criticism comes after Wolves’ Ruben Neves took a dig at the north London side when similar celebrations took place following an Arsenal victory at Molineux in February.
