Former France international, Mikael Silvestre, has warned that the club may be in ‘trouble’ for Saturday’s north London derby against Tottenham.
Tottenham are unbeaten so far this season and face Mikel Arteta’s league leaders on Saturday
And there are question marks over midfielder Thomas Partey after the Ghana International picked up a minor knee issue.
Silvestre feels that the Gunners could struggle without Partey, who the Gunners are hoping will be fit to return in time.
Silvestre said thag a big piece of the puzzle for Arteta may be the absence of Partey..
“Arsenal is showing they are stretched as soon as there is an injury to Xhaka or Partey. They are short on bodies so it could be problematic this season.
He noted that the Ghanaian international is showing has shown he is good on the ball, making the right challenges in.the midfield.
“So if he doesn’t play, that is trouble for Arsenal,” he told bettingexpert
