Rio Ferdinand has told Harry Maguire to leave Manchester United immediately when the January transfer window opens.
Also, Paul Scholes noted that left-back Luke Shaw is even ahead of Maguire in Erik ten Hag pecking order for the central defence position.

The England international Maguire has missed United’s first two games back after the World Cup with Ten Hag declaring him ill.
The likes of former defender Paul Parker has called Ten Hag a liar for saying the player was ill prior to their game against Nottingham Forest and Maguire was again today named among the substitutes.
With Lisandro Martinez also still absent, regular left-back Shaw was shifted inside to partner Raphael Varane in United’s defence and Ferdinand argued that Maguire should be fit enough to play if he is in the squad.
“This is not long-term,” Ferdinand told BT Sport of Shaw starting at centre-half.
“It did raise my eyebrows when I saw Lindelof and Maguire on the bench. If they weren’t fit they wouldn’t be on the bench.
“If I’m Harry Maguire, I am looking for a new club right now, I have to be honest.
‘At Manchester United, it just hasn’t worked out for him.
‘So I am thinking if I were him in his shoes, I would be saying, find me somewhere else where I can go and enjoy my football and be playing regularly.’
Scholes added Maguire is now ten Hag’s “last choice’ option at the back.
“He is the last choice centre half now with even Shaw ahead of him.”
