Reece James and N’Golo Kante were in full training on Tuesday, in what will be a boost for Chelsea ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Brentford.
James withdrew from England’s squad for their World Cup qualifying matches due to an ankle injury.
He was replaced by fellow club team-mate Ben Chilwell.
Kante, meanwhile, was forced to observe a period of isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.
The France midfielder worked on his fitness away from the main group at the Blues’ training base last week, but was put through his paces along with James and the rest of the squad this morning.
Thomas Tuchel will no doubt hope both players are fully fit and available to play a role on Saturday.
The likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Saul, Hakim Ziyech and Ross Barkley also took part in drills at Cobham.
