Manchester United attacking midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has been identified as the club’s major problem following the arrival of Ralf Rangnick as the interim manager.

The Portugal international has been figured out as the cause of the club’s recent crisis according to the Independent.

The Independent cited an insider as saying that Fernandes has gone from scoring a goal once every two games in the Premier League to no goals in his last nine games.

The Portuguese’s performance against Chelsea, according to the report, showed everything wrong with him at the moment.

According to the Independent, Fernandes’ teammates ‘looked at him in disbelief’ given just how influential he was to their successes last season.

Fernandes was chased by all of the ‘big six’ teams of the Premier League before United were eventually the only ones to make a move.

And one well-placed source told The Independent: “You can see why. And, with the way the Premier League works, you usually get one year before everyone figures you out.”
