The day of reckoning is here as England take on Slovakia in their Euro 2024 last 16 clash at 5pm today.

After an underwhelming group stage, where the Three Lions won just one of three games and scored just twice, Gareth Southgate’s side need a big performance to get fans back onside and restore faith that football will come home this summer.

Slovakia are big underdogs against England – but after beating Belgium in their opening game of the tournament – they certainty should not be underestimated.

Meanwhile, Southgate is expected to make some changes to his England side with Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo set to come into the XI.
