England’s Euro 2024 squad could rake in around £1billion if they beat Spain in tonight’s final, with Gareth Southgate set to receive a £4million bonus.

The Three Lions can end 58 years of hurt when they take on La Roja in Berlin, with the quest to bring football home kicking off at 8pm.

The players will only have their eyes on getting the win and making history, but should they triumph they can all expect to bank millions upon millions throughout the rest of their careers.

Thanks to increased wages and endorsement deals, it is estimated that the 26 stars combined will earn around £1bn, with star player Jude Bellingham set for the biggest windfall.

The 21-year-old, who earns around £220,000-a-week at Real Madrid, would pocket more than £400m before he hands up his boots, making him the most lucrative English player in history – outranking even David Beckham.

‘Jude has all the ingredients to overtake Beckham’s £372million by the end of his career,’ brands expert Marcel Knobil told The Sun.

‘He could be looking at £50million earnings annually with his Real Madrid salary plus sponsorships and endorsements. That amasses into the hundreds of millions.

‘Jude will need the same business acumen and longevity of his playing career as Beckham. But he is right at the top of the world game from such a young age and is on a trajectory similar to Ronaldo. He’s got everything.’

Meanwhile, captain Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer could rake in around £100m each if they can fire England to victory.

Manager Southgate is also in for a nice payday, having already been given a £2m bonus for reaching the final, and will receive the same amount again if he can guide the Three Lions to the most important win of his career.

There is also a €331m prize pot distributed between the 24 participating nations at Euro 2024, in addition to bonuses depending on how well each team performs.

Thanks to England’s efforts so far, the FA have already received €19.25m, with €8m more on the way if the become champions or €5m if they lose.
