Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Yerins Abraham has reacted after being dragged into a fan-war over whose favorite housemate bagged the best endorsement deal.
It all started when a fan of disqualified BBNaija level-up housemate, Beauty Tukura, mocked the housemates who made it to the finale because they are yet to sign endorsement deals with ‘big brands’.
According to the Twitter user with handle @Veebossy_, the finalists – Phyna, Bryan, Chichi, Daniella, and others – have only signed deals with mediocre brands.
“So this year finalists will be signing deals that signed Beatrice, Yerins and Princess last year nawao,” the fan tweeted.
Reacting, another fan averred that disqualified housemates like Tacha, Erica, and Beauty, seem to be doing better than housemates who lasted on the show in their respective seasons.
This sparked a huge debate on Twitter and a fan asserted that Beauty can’t be compared to Erica and Tacha because she spent barely two weeks in the house, yet she has a high standard.
The fan tweeted, “Imagine comparing Tacha and Erica to Beauty when they were disqualified almost to the end of the show. We done tell Una say Beauty no dey sign rubbish deals that she can spend the fee in a day like ur fave.”
Amid the back and forth between the fans, they made reference to a deal Yerins signed during his time.
The polymath has now responded, stating that endorsement deal is not a sign of success and fans should allow their faves breathe.

“Endorsements are just lowkey 9-5 jobs not a sign of success. The way you fans kill yourselves over it is absurd. If you mean well for your fav, gradually grow with them and allow them to pursue their path, not stuck being a brand influencer just so y’all can have bragging rights.”
