Popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Cuppy has been put in a mourning state as her grandma from her mother’s side passed away.
The entertainer who shared the sad news on X (Twitter) noted that she finds comfort in knowing that her late grandma is resting in heaven.
Cuppy who appeared to share a bond with her late grandma said she is grateful for the way her grandmother has shaped her and her mother in the past few years.
She also shared images and videos of her and her grandma, of the different times they saw and were together.
Her tweet read;
“My mummy’s mother has passed away I’m finding comfort knowing she’s in heaven, looking down on us with love. What a life she lived! I’m SO grateful for the way she shaped my mum, who then shaped me. I’m praying for my very own during this sudden season of change, but we already know that our God is good all the time. Grandma Kaduna, your spirit lives on, guiding and comforting us“
