The Police Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has said that the police now understand the tricks behind elections in Nigeria.

This is coming just after the Osun State governorship election, where Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party has been declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He noted that the 2023 elections would not be a challenge for the police as the Force was now capable of handling election security.

Posting on Twitter Sunday morning, via Princemoye1, Adejobi said, “Like I say always, any further elections in Nigeria will be a walkover for us, including the 2023 general election, as we are capable of handling election security, we got d game tricks now.”
