Newspot reported that the threat to life was revealed at a press conference by the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Rivers State, Johnson Sinikiem.

He alerted the Nigeria Police Force in charge of the presidential election in Rivers State about alleged threats to truncate the state’s collation centre.

“I want to urge the public and other critical stakeholders to note that the function of the state collation officer is just to collate results that cannot change”.
