Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has dismissed two of his aides from office over acts of gross misconduct.
The dismissed aides are Mr. Nnannna Nwangele – Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security, and Mr. Felix Okemini – Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security (Ebonyi North).
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Grace Umezurike and made available to journalists in Abakaliki.
The officers were directed to handover all government properties in their possession to the Secretary to Ebonyi State Government, not later than 4:00 pm on Tuesday March 18, 2025.
“The officers should, henceforth, not be seen anywhere around Government House or participate in any government activity,” the statement stressed.
