The 23-year-old has been at the MLS side since last year, joining from Serbian side Čukarički, where he made his professional debut.
He has since caught the eye in the States, named in the 2023 MLS All-Star team and with New England Revolution reportedly turning down bids from the likes of Nottingham Forest and Nantes for the stopper.
The Guardian reports that Chelsea are the latest club to try and bring Petrovic back to Europe, offering Revolution £15m for their goalkeeper.
There has been a lot of change in the goalkeeping department at Stamford Bridge this summer, with Edouard Mendy moving to the Saudi Pro League and Kepa Arrizabalaga joining Real Madrid on loan.
Robert Sanchez has arrived from Brighton in a permanent deal and will be first choice after starting against Liverpool in the opening game of the Premier League season, but Mauricio Pochettino wants to add a back-up option to his squad.

However, the 6’4″ has shown a lot of promise and Chelsea will hope they can pick up a bargain before any other club snaps him up.
