After the international break, the focus returns to the Premier League on Saturday where all eyes will be on Old Trafford and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The return of the Portuguese superstar will hog the headlines, whatever the outcome, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be mindful of the need to maintain the momentum his side have built during the early weeks of the campaign.

Elsewhere, there’s a massive game at the bottom of the table between Arsenal and Norwich, while Spurs will look to continue their 100% start to the new season at Crystal Palace.

As ever, Betfair Ambassador Dimitar Berbatov previews the action for Metro.co.uk…

Crystal Palace v Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur

I’m going for Spurs to continue their winning streak and stay at the top of the table. The deserve to be there so far. Crystal Palace have had some tricky games so far. Spurs have Harry Kane back and scoring goals. Prediction: 0-2.

Betfair Exchange odds: Crystal Palace 10/3, Draw 5/2, Spurs 21/10

Watford v Wolves

I can see this one being a tough fought out game. I’m sad to see my favourite Watford player, Troy Deeney leave the club recently. Wolves haven’t had the best of starts and I can see this one being a battle for both sides. Prediction: 0-0.

Betfair Exchange odds: Watford 5/2, Draw 9/4, Wolves7/5

Brentford v Brighton

Both sides have started well, they will be both pleased with their results so far. Both teams like to play good football and I can see this being a good match. Prediction: 2-2.

Betfair Exchange odds: Brentford 2/1, Draw 11/5, Brighton 15/8

Arsenal v Norwich

It’s about time Arsenal start winning, I like Arteta and if they don’t beat Norwich the pressure will be too much. They have to win this match and I think they have enough to beat the newly promoted side. Prediction: 2-1.

Betfair Exchange odds: Arsenal 8/15, Draw 4/1, Norwich 6/1

Man United v Newcastle

Cristiano Ronaldo

This is it. Nothing else to say here but a United win. The club will be boosted by the Ronaldo factor and he will be playing some part in the game. The fans at Old Trafford are going to be going crazy and it is going to be some atmosphere.

I hope they can top it with a strong performance. I expect Varane and Sancho to be playing in this one too, United will have too much for Newcastle. Prediction: 3-0.

Betfair Exchange odds: Man United 1/5, Draw 7/1, Newcastle 17/1

Southampton v West Ham

Mikael Antonio is on fire at the minute and is looking good. I was impressed with Southampton and the way they fought till the end in their last match. I think there will be a surprise in this one and I can see if being for the home side. Prediction: 1-0.

Betfair Exchange odds: Southampton 2/1, Draw 11/4, West Ham 6/4

Leicester v Man City

Manchester City

Jamie Vardy has a great goal record against Man City and he’s already started the season with a couple, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him on the scoresheet again.

That being said, City are favourites and they have incredible quality, so I am going to have to go with them on this one. Prediction: 1-3.

Betfair Exchange odds: Leicester 5/1, Draw 3/1, Man City 4/6

Chelsea v Aston Villa

These sort of games look obvious, but Chelsea are very strong with everything that they are doing at the moment. The Tuchel effect is still going strong and I can see them getting another positive result here. Prediction: 2-0.

Betfair Exchange odds: Chelsea 1/3, Draw 5/1, Aston Villa 12/1

Leeds v Liverpool

Liverpool

Leeds have had a slow start so far, but I expect them to come good. I think this is a tough one for them and Liverpool will be a big test. I think Liverpool will get the result on the road in this one. Prediction: 0-2.

Betfair Exchange odds: Leeds 7/2, Draw 7/2, Liverpool 4/5

Everton v Burnley

Everton have had a good start to life under Rafa Benitez, last time out they looked very strong away from home and I can see them continuing their good form in this one. Prediction: 1-0.

Betfair Exchange odds: Everton 4/5, Draw 14/5, Burnley 9/2

Dimitar Berbatov’s top picks of Spurs, Arsenal and Man United all to win is a combined odds of 6/4 on the Betfair Sportsbook (https://www.betfair.com/sport/football) where there are no Cash Out suspensions on match odds.
