David Moyes will not have Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio available when Arsenal visit West Ham on Sunday, with both still suffering with injury.

The Hammers host the Gunners in a big London derby on Sunday afternoon, with Moyes looking for his first Premier League win in a while, with three draws and a defeat in his last four games.

He will have to do so without Paqueta, who has a calf problem, and Antonio, who is back in training after a knee injury but not ready to feature.

‘Lucas Paquetá isn’t ready yet,’ Moyes told a press conference on Friday. ‘Michail Antonio has started training but has only trained for two days with the group.

‘It’s great having him back, but he’s still off it in terms of match fitness and being available.’

Moyes will be taking on a man he has a lot of respect for in Mikel Arteta, having managed the Spaniard at Everton and been very impressed with what he has done at Arsenal.

‘The manager has done a brilliant job with the team. They’ve got some really top quality players,’ Moyes said of the Gunners.

‘They are a top team, they really are. We did a great job getting a win at the Emirates and overall we’ve had some good results against them.

‘We’ll have to work hard and play well again when we play them on Sunday.’

Arteta has spoken in the past about his feelings on Moyes, which are extremely positive, saying last season: ‘It’s more than respect, I think it’s admiration. I loved playing under him. I would have gone through a brick wall for him when he was my manager, as everybody would in that squad.

‘[He’s] a really good coach, exceptional at managing the group and dealing with individuals, and he’s a very special person, very trustworthy, and a man who honours his word. He always did it and he’s someone I learnt a lot from.’
