An American commentator let the emotions get the better of her during the third round of the women’s Olympic golf when she dropped an F-bomb during live coverage.
During a topsy-turvy third round at Le Golf National, a number of the world’s best players made their move as they tried to position themselves at the top of the leaderboard ahead of Saturday’s final round.
One such player was Brooke Henderson, a two-time major champion from Canada who started the day in fine form with three birdies in her first nine holes.
After a great approach shot into another green, Henderson was seen fist-pumping her sister and caddie, Brittany, as she walked towards the green in search of her fourth birdie of the day.

But while describing the Canadian’s visibly pumped-up demeanour, commentator Morgan Pressel seemed to get a tad over-excited and let slip an expletive on live TV.
‘Yeah, let’s give Brittany a little fist-pump,’ Pressel, a former LPGA Tour player herself, said. ‘She is f*****g fired up! You love to see it.’
Listen out to the incident below…
Henderson currently sits in T13, seven shots behind current leader Lydia Ko on -9 who produced a stellar four-under-par round on Friday to surge into gold medal contention.
The New Zealander has won silver and bronze at the past two Games but is now in prime position to complete the medal set, holding a two-shot lead over Rose Zhang, Miyu Yamashita and Morgane Metraux in a tie for second.
Defending champion and world number one Nelly Korda is three shots further back on -4 alongside home favourite Celine Boutier.
Medal hopes for Team GB evaporated after a poor first few days for Charley Hull and Georgia Hall.
Hall currently sits T27 on -1, while Hull is further back in T36 despite an improved three-under-par display on Friday.
