Chief Revd Mrs Tola Oyediran Life And Times In Pictures

Chief Revd Mrs Oyediran was looking spiritedly to her 80th birthday anniversary when the cold hands of death snatched her away.

Family source said her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were planning a befitting birthday ceremonies for her when the news of her demise hit the airwaves.

Fondly called Mama Ibadan, Mrs Oyediran will be sorely missed by all. She is a complete woman who spread love and affection to all.

– Rev. (Mrs.) Tola Oyediran was the wife of Professor Kayode Oyediran, former Vice-Chancellor of University of Ibadan and an old boy of King’s College, Lagos. His father, late Ambassador Oyediran was an old boy of King’s College, Lagos.


Mrs Oyediran took on the mantle of Matriach of the Awolowo dynasty at the passing away of Chief Mrs HID Awolowo.  Out of the five Awo’s biological children only Mrs Tokunbo Awolowo Dosumu is alive.

She was a devout Christian that often preached the word to harvest soul into God’s vineyard.
