Moukoko has been the subject of significant transfer interest off the back of his breakthrough season in the Bundesliga and record-breaking appearance at the World Cup.
The striker has six goals and four assists in 14 league games so far this campaign and at 18 he became the youngest player to represent Germany at a World Cup when he came off the bench in the group stage against Japan.
The teenager is out of contract at the end of the season, with Graham Potter, Jurgen Klopp and Erik ten Hag ready to tempt him to the Premier League in January.
There has however been many contradictory reports over what Moukoko will do next, with some saying that he is close to agreeing a new deal with Dortmund while others claim he rejected a huge new deal that would have seen his wages skyrocket into six figures.
Last week, his agent sought to clarify the situation, saying that while they were not near completing a new deal for the player, he certainly had not rejected, nor had even been offered, the reported salary worth £115,000-a-week.
Now, Moukoko himself has spoken out on the matter, reiterating his commitment to Dortmund for the rest of the campaign.
‘I will never accept such a lie and I’m still shocked – it’s a shame,’ he said when discussing the stories that he turned down a new deal worth around €6million-a-year.
‘My full focus is on the second half of the season with Borussia Dortmund. I will never be bigger than the club.’
All three Premier League giants are in the market for a new striker, though Chelsea have now agreed to sign 20-year-old David Datro Fofana from Molde, which will help replace Armando Broja who recently suffered a season-ending knee injury.
United need to fill a Cristiano Ronaldo shaped void and have been linked with many different players, most notably Cody Gakpo, while Liverpool are short on forwards at the moment with Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz out injured.
