Nigerian business mogul, Obi Cubana, was spotted at Stanford Bridge in London, cheering Chelsea FC to victory against Southampton in company of prime London buying agent, Yemi Edun, and English FA-licensed players’ agent, Drew Uyi.
Also on the entourage were the Chairman of Dimalor Group, Obialor Obidimalo, and the founder and Managing Director of Shepherds Group, Oludare Adeyemi .
The name Obi Cubana resonates in a positive way globally given all the giant strides that the Anambra-born entrepreneur and socialite has achieved globally. He is also synonymous with all things grand, beautiful, lavish and laudable.
And all these elements were on display when Cubana, Edun, Uyi and others stormed Stanford Bridge on Saturday for Chelsea’s clash with Southampton.
Edun, an award-winning buying agent and financial consultant, is a keen football enthusiast, who has gone around the globe to watch top football matches. An unrepentant Chelsea fan, Edun watched last season’s UEFA Champions League final at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, between the Blues and Manchester City, and his visibility and high connect are of legendary proportions.
Edun, who has a rich network of friends and business associates cut across various continents and sectors, is also a celebrated speaker and history enthusiast.
In fact, according to reports, Edun, was the initiator-in-chief of the trip by Cubana, Uyi and others on the entourage to Stamford Bridge for the game over the weekend. The VIP box where all these celebrities sat to watch the game belongs to Edun, a platinum card carrying Chelsea fan.
Cubana, who has an eye-popping 1.9 million strong-army of followers on social media platform Instagram, also posted an image of himself chatting with Chelsea player, Callum Hudson-Odoi, after the match.
