Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has appointed Mr Emmanuel Aboh as the state’s Auditor-General.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Tersoo Kula, on Friday.
Until his appointment, Aboh was the Director of Audit in the Office of the Auditor-General.
According to the statement, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement added that Aboh has three degrees – a master’s in development studies, a master’s in business administration, and a bachelor’s in accounting.
He belongs to several professional bodies, including Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria (MAA), Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ITN), and the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
