The Bauchi State Government has allocated a significant N400 million in its 2025 budget for the purchase of six computers for the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

In addition, N1 billion has been earmarked for the “purchase of land for the construction of offices and buildings,” and N170 million will be spent on acquiring a generator to power the SSG’s office.

This revelation comes shortly after Bauchi State Governor, Bala AbdulKadir Mohammed, criticized President Bola Tinubu’s social and economic reforms.

On Wednesday, the Governor garnered attention after urging an Islamic cleric who had supported Tinubu’s election to counsel the President on the plight of ordinary Nigerians.

Governor Mohammed highlighted the widespread suffering among Nigerians, stressing the urgent need for government to implement meaningful programs and make more prudent spending decisions.
