President Bola Tinubu has appointed a new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. He is Professor Bashiru Olamilekan.
The Professor replaces Professor Mahmood Yakubu whose tenure has just expired.
Yakubu conducted two General Elections, 2019 and 2023. She succeeded Prof. Attahiru Jega after the 2015 Elections.
