Muhammad Dakat, the Director General (DG) of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Ifeanyi Okowa (NSM), has passed away.
Muhammad was a devoted advocate for former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), expressed deep sorrow after hearing the news of the passing of his key ally.
Mr Atiku said, “I have just been briefed about the passing of Muhammad Dakat.
”Muhammad, serving as the Director General of the National Solidarity Movement for Atiku/Okowa (NSM), brought an immense amount of enthusiasm and inspiration to the task of rallying fellow citizens during the previous general election. His dedication and passion made a significant impact.
”Even beyond the election, Muhammad remained steadfast in his dedication to the cause. He served as a beacon of inspiration for young individuals and exemplified leadership through his unwavering convictions.
”Losing such a devoted and passionate member of our Atiku family at such a young age is truly heartbreaking”.
Atiku concluded by saying, “On behalf of Ifeanyi Okowa and myself, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Dakat family, the NSM, and all our support groups. Muhammad’s absence will be deeply felt.
”May the Almighty Allah grant his family the strength to endure this tragic time. May his memories bring blessings. Amin.”
