Arsenal will consider offers for Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun in January, with the pair keen to play first team football.

Nketiah, 22, is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates and he’s told the club he will not be extending unless his playing time increases.

The forward has made just two appearances so far this term but he’s scored in both and he feels he’s deserving of more opportunities.

Nketiah can sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs from January 1st but Arsenal would be keen to obtain a fee for him should he confirm once and for all that he will not extend his deal.

The Gunners have received interest from a number of clubs, most notably from Germany.

Balogun is another that could leave next month but Arsenal will only allow him to leave on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

The striker was convinced to sign a new deal last summer after protracted negotiations with the club.

However, he’s managed just 77 minutes so far this term and Mikel Arteta wants him to gain more experience out on loan.

Middlesbrough are leading the race for his signature, with manager Chris Wilder keen to sign the striker.

Wilder attempted to sign Balogun during his time at Sheffield United and he’s hoping his long-term interest in the 20-year-old will finally pay off.
