The candidate of the All Progressive Congress representing Ilorin Central Constituency in next Saturday state assembly election, Magaji Oba-Abdulkadir, has said that the triumph of the APC candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in last week presidential election is a way of paying back what he has done for the people.
Mogaji in his reaction described the emergence of Tinubu as the president-elect as divine.
He said, “Tinubu is among the Nigerians who has produced many big political figures who are doing well in their various positions and he’s a detribalized man with great leadership acumen and undented track records.
“His innovative and creative solutions to human and societal problems and the general welfare of the populace, especially in rural areas, reflect his love for the people at the grassroots.”
Mogaji in his congratulatory message said the president-elect deserves the victory having sacrificed greatly for the development of democracy and the nation at large.
He said, “The victory is divine, Tinubu deserves the success in all the ways, he has given so much to the development of our country, he’s one of the Nigerians who has built human capacity with his undented antecedents.”
Mogaji, however, urged the people of Kwara to reciprocate the victory recorded in the presidential election at the state level in the coming election, explaining that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRaza is committed towards developing the state.
He also urged the people of Kwara state to continue supporting the good cause of the governor in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy from the Federal level down to the state.
Mogaji also congratulates the Kwara Central senator-elect, Mallam Salihu Mustapha, on his victory describing him as a figure who has established a good reputation for himself with his big impacts and involvement in politics for the last one decade.
