Another prominent personality in Ogbomoso in Oyo State is dead.
Our correspondent gathered that the deceased, Professor Alex Gboyega, is the fourth prominent personality to die within just one month in Ogbomoso.
He died at the age of 76.
Ogbomoso is the second largest city in Oyo State, South-West Nigeria.
Newspot learnt that Gboyega retired from the University of Ibadan.
He was a renowned professor of Political Science.
Newspot gathered that the deceased lived in Ibadan, the state capital.
Gboyega died a few hours after the death of a former Governor of the state, Chief Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Alao-Akala died at the age of 71 a few days after the death of the eldest daughter of immediate past Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jim oh Oyewumi.
Oba Oyewumi, Newspot recalls died one month ago at the age of 95.
The monarch died on 12th December 2021, exactly one month ago.
